3D-Effect of images for Decoupage

Before you submit your work for a great design, you must first draw circles and other shapes on a tracing paper, so you know exactly how the layout would be done. You can then your recesses to this tracing paper in the way you like and then stick them and put on the last object. Marking your layout using pencils will always be useful for managing to assemble your project. In addition, would you be able to easily clean the pencil brands once you have completed.

Place your photo cutouts in different layers for a 3-d effect to your design. Don't forget a varnish coat apply once you are done with a single layer. Then place another layer and apply varnish and so on. The lower layers in this way would look a bit dark so the 3D effect. After you have taken part in the paste, and the gum is dried up, gently move your fingers on the entire object, just to remove all unwanted pieces of paper. In the case the surface is not smooth or the clippings are still not good you pasted also would get to know this and you can apply a coat of diluted gum on your object to the surface smooth.

A favorite Scripture, lyrics printed, shells, flowers, stickers, glitter, beads etc can also be used to decorate your object. They would actually give a all together new look for your item. Don't forget to apply a new layer until the object is completely dry. Finally, you can ribbons or laces line up the edges of the object with some gums. You may need to spray in some sand on the gums, to keep it in place. Two-sided flat glass marbles, or puff paint can also be used.

Although a bit more expensive than the simple white glue, glue, there are available in the craft shops especially for decoupage purpose. In case you are experiencing problems with the wrinkles or excess glue, you may a pop-sicle stick to remove them. If your paper is thin, make sure that it is not printed on the both sides or else the print from the other side would be visible when you will apply the gum. Refer to the back of the paper with a thin layer of gum. Decoupage paper is available from all good craft suppliers including Sally Cross Craft Supplies in Antonio Ramos and also Christopher Freville in Boston. A wet cloth can be used to the extra gum on the surface clean and press the sides of the picture clippings when pasting. So, keep a cloth while you work.

A real or Dutch metal gold leaf can also be used to cover any kind of object. To your object gesso surfaces and can be used, it is not mandatory to apply gesso but it has usually required when working on large surfaces. Don't forget to put on a mask when a surface abrasion.

Gold leaf, in particular the real are also delicate and must be carefully worked with. You must not add fuel to hands when working with gold leaf. You can also use the tip if you are using the real gilder works. Gilder the tip is a flat brush made from squirrel hair, which you can create and choose your current gold leaf and put it on the object without crumbling. A gilder tip would cost you about $ 75 and it's actually not very easy to use for the first time. First of all sand and clean your object. Application of gesso and then use if required an artist brush to the Golden size. Go for a good quality brush. And before you actually use on your surface, DAB just so that if they loose hair on your surface and be deleted.
